About

Kelly Bennett is a coastal New England painter. As an avid beach lover, she lives and breathes to explore and paint the coast. Whether painting a tranquil seascape, migrating shorebirds, a sunrise at low tide, or an oncoming Nor’easter at midnight, she tries to achieve, through close observation, handmade paintings that inspire a feeling of connection to the world around us. She wholeheartedly believes in climate science and environmental protections, and will always strive to paint images that enhance beauty, truth, and kindness toward the earth.

She earned her MFA at the School of the Museum of Fine Arts/Tufts University and BFA at Massachusetts College of Art and Design.
